We’re excited to bring you an amazing remix of Nina Simone’s version of ‘I Put A Spell On You’ by Los Angeles based, Muti Music artist MiM0SA.
Mimosa takes the listener on a space age psychedelic journey of bittersweet ecstasy. Only a two year veteran of the west coast sound movement, Mimosa is quickly making a name for himself as one of the top west coast exports.
Part 9 brings us to a genre that isnt to high on my priorities list but this caught my ear for its big beat, high pitched creeps and party potential, from a dutch producer Kid Kiao who i read about awhile back and then caught a taste of his skills on a momma’s boy remix which wasn’t too shabby. check this big beat out taken from his self-titled ep, enjoy!
Cajmere is a chicago house god dabbling in house, deep house, acid house to name a few, percolator is one you should know if you like a good tune, it started a dance craze in Chicago called the percolator (it’s time for the percolator!). years on there have been some remixes released by some of the todays best producers, part one includes works from Major Lazer, Claude VonStroke, Bad Boy Bill, Riva Starr and Gant-Man. be sure to buy this release cause the vonstroke and riva remixes are killer. today i have the gant-man remix for a bit of chicago on chicago love (i’ve been digging chicago stuff of late its just so good). the original is a classic this remix is a nice variation of it check it.

I’ll let you in on a little secret — when it comes to R&B, all I really look for is sex. You know, the type of sleaze that made R. Kelly so iconic in the early and mid 90s. Contemporary artists like The-Dream and Drake understand this and bring the right balance of cocky swagger and sexytime to the track. I’ll be completely honest here and just say that my familiarity with Trey Songz’ work peaks somewhere around his high-profile, high-swagger collaboration with Drake; “Successful” from Drizzy’s So Far Gone mixtape. On “The Usual”, Trey Songz is reunited with Drake to make up what is shaping up to some sort of R&B dream team making dream sex jams, just how I like. Hear/download the song below:
