Our friends at Sub Pop have hooked us up with one of the few copies of Beach House’s extremely limited blue Lazuli Record Store Day 7″ that wasn’t immediately grabbed up by eBay scalpers, along with a copy of the group’s beautiful new album Bloom on CD. Star Slinger took Drake and Weeknd’s infinitely awesome “Crew Love” and replaced Illangelo and Tesfey’s synth washes and twinkling lines of piano with his signature skittering breakbeats, giving the track serious club potential (not the first setting that comes to mind when I’m thinking about listen to The Weeknd). We’ve been crushing on The Neighbourhood’s “Sweater Weather” for a few weeks now. So we’re pretty stoked that their EP, I’m Sorry is out on Monday. Check out new hip hop-leaning cut “Wires.” It’s a good time to be a dude making effortlessly catchy indie pop –– just look at Gotye, Fun. and Foster The People’s recent blockbuster successes. We’d put money on The Neighbourhood being the next indie pop sensation to chip away at David Guetta-esque house-pop’s stronghold on American pop.

Yeasayer have been really quite for a while, but now it seems the Brooklyn psych jammers are coming back. They’ve just announced six shows in June (all in the South) and a lone festive date in Montreal. We’re assuming this news won’t immediately satisfy their fans on a wide-scale, but we can be sure that the band will be trying out some new material live this summer. Check out the dates below:

A$AP Rocky just released this flashy new video for “Goldie,” the first single from his first official album, LongLiveA$AP. The clip was directed by Rocky and was styled by Alexander Wang –– so as you can imagine, it prominently focuses on Rocky’s penchant for debauchery and flamboyance. SBTRKT – Wildfire (Live from Coachella 2012)

You know RAC for their remixes – in fact, smart, catchy re-imaginations of other people’s songs are all we’ve heard from them to date. But now, Green Label Sound is dropping the first ever original single from RAC, “Hollywood,” which features vocals from Penguin Prison mastermind Chris Glover, and it’s a great summer pop jam that would fit in effortlessly on Top 40 radio. We’re digging that wandering bassline and those playful, bubbly guitar riffs, but Glover’s versatile vocals, as he reckons with a woman who’s gotten too famous for him, really steal the show. Check it out.

Riva Starr (aka Stefano Miele) has wrapped up Miami, summer and sunshine in his WMC 2012 compilation “Batería Fantástica.” The album borrows its name from the 1970′s Brazilian compilations named A Fantástica Bateria and has South American flavors of samba and salsa. Grab “Batería Fantástica” out on Beatport now.

When we talked to André Allen Anjos of RAC at SXSW this past March, he mentioned the group’s upcoming album chock full of artist collaborations and our interest was peaked. The only one he would reveal to us then was a track with New York native Chris Glover’sPenguin Prison, which was just dropped today. I had the opportunity to hear new single “Hollywood” in DC when Chris performed it live at an All Things Go event. It’s vibrant pop brilliance from two artists who are great independently but better together.

Directed by Martin Garde Abildgaard. Barfod’s Salton Sea LP is out May 22 on Friends of Friends.

Any remix with the name GRUM attached to it is almost guaranteed to be an instant classic, and this proves to be true with his latest rework of UK singer Mary Epworth‘s “Long Gone.” The track has a slick disco vibe with big builds much in the vein of producers like LA nu-disco duo Oliver. Epworth’s record Dream Life is out June 18.

Deft came to light recently as one of the featured remixes on Gang Colours‘ Fancy Restaurant single release, and  the chilled out dubs continue with this great little two track EP, 2000. Deft has been kind enough to offer it as a free download on his Soundcloud page, so if you enjoy the sampler below, get on it! Definitely music to relax to.

Canadian electropop trio Dragonette releases a video for the first single, “Let It Go,” off their third studio album. The video is set in a sterile and serious hospital or research facility, with singer Martina adding character and color through deviant dance moves.

Twitter have met their match in the form of energy drink Red Bull innovating the experience of tweeting by making tweets musical!

You can stop rubbing your eyes, this is going to happen thanks to The beat suite tweet machine, invented by Tequila Sydney. With the use of sentiment analysis, the mood of each twitter follower will be translated into sweet sounding beats through the assistance of keywords describing the emotion of the tweet.

Music for the Tweets will be provided and composed by the Australian Youth Orchestra alongside producers Galapagoose, Scratch 22, DJ Perplex, Amin Payne, Ladi6 and Ryan Richie from The Raah Project.

A brand spanker by two sisters from Bondi, now living in Sweden. This is pretty lush. As a general rule of thumb, the creative output of Bondi sucks, but this graceful debut really tickles my feminine-pop fetish.

One would suspect plentiful and unnecessary hand-percussion here if the twins hadn’t migrated.

Here’s a sneak peak at what goes on behind the scenes when you’re one of SXSW’s most buzzed about bands. This clip, courtesy of SPIN, features rising electro pop singer MNDR, the Baltimore-based Lower Dens (who just happened to release one of our favorite albums of the year) and Minneapolis underground rap collective Doomtree.

You may be aware of the contest that Kris Menace is currently running for his new track “We Are”. Here we feature a recently completed remix by regular appearances, Final DJs, who deliver a strong contender to win. Replete with that oh-so-warm 80s bass, soaring glide lead, and the big reverbed vocal for the track, this one will please your ears.

Stockholm based singer/songwriter Jonathan Johansson’s dark, melancholic and synthbased pop together with poetic, heartfelt lyrics has earned him a cult following and several Grammy nominations here in Sweden.

John Dahlbäck enjoyed Jonathans ode to his new hometown Stockholm so much that he decided to turn it into a pumping, anthemic techno track that’s best enjoyed in blinding strobes in a warehouse amidst a sweaty mass of dancers.

Italian bro-sters Crookers were once the top tier of electro stormers and have since risen from the ashes post the apocalyptic fall of the genre with the release of the banging EP “That Laughing Track” featuring Style of Eye & Carli out on Mad Decent/Southern Fried.

The music video that follows a total 90′s rave spazz out filled with masked hooligans, out of control waveforms and a non-stop evil laughter!

For how predictably annoying this clip could be, it’s just the opposite and gets you watching/listening again and again.
