My bad still catching up on posting songs during the holidays. I’ve never really been into Late of Pier but their new song “Blueberry” is quite good. It’s Bowie-esque rock, trippy, beautifully spacey and even comes with a cacophony of guitars and drums near the end. Huzzah!

The video is appropriate as its slightly haunting and uses a retro-feeling kaleidoscope thing.

Oh Karen O you crazy; I love the Yeah Yeah Yeahs concert pictures because Karen O always be wearing something ridiculous and looking like a complete maniac. Thank you to whoever made this picture for acknowledging that.

“Maps” is sort of an indie classic song now and sounds good to me as a techno reeeeeeeeemixxxxxxx. Elite Force jazzes it up by using the acoustic version of “Maps”, (complete with a beautiful violin section), and mashes it up with sections of JELO’s remix of Monolythe’s “Siberia” (ridiculous dance track).

B. Rich has just sent us over a remix of Tiesto that he did a few months ago, and I think he has labeled it correctly calling it “trancestep”. It kinda seems like you can add ‘step’ to anything these days and make it cooler, even trance. In addition to that track I also introduce you to J. Rabbit, a dubstep and DnB specialist out of the Bronx. Look for him to produce some great new tracks this year out on Delorean Music Group and Play Me Records.
