Uninspired by the grey skies this last weekend of summer brings us, i draw strength to post from an older more proven song.
Spencer and Hill have been and foraging and applying their musical ability to the blog landscape for some time now and have developed a name with in the hard electro and house scenes.
I came across The song tresspasser while back tracking in an attempt to wake up, which is partly the reason this post happened. Whether it was the whispering voices in the build up or the catching lead synth line. this is quality that cannot be denied

GDD™ homies, and self-proclaimed “Maximalist House” duo ZEDEX have recently put the finishing touches to their forthcoming Zulu X-ray EP. The follow up to last September’s High Crimes release, it’s set to drop on Metamimetic this April, and believe me when I tell you: it’s an absolute monster of an EP. The track list’s below, together with a brand new remix they’ve done for their buddies Fenech Soler.
Zedex – Zulu X-ray EP (track list):
1. Zulu X-ray (ft. Sam Wilkes)
2. Ulysses
3. Kiss Me While I Love You

But don’t worry we’ll be back soon :)

French writer Antoine de Saint- Exupéry once said perfection isn’t reached when there’s nothing left to add, but when there’s nothing left to take away… Music sometimes talks better than words as well.

Here’s a track to get you geared up for solid night of hypnotic house music. From Ryan Elliott’s “Rocksteady EP” we have track two called, “Steadyrocking”, which is a moody electronic instrumental house track. The highlight of this track is the main motif of a four note piano line that weaves in and out of this seven minute plus track.

Pitchfork recently had a really nice interview with FaultyDL, they also offered his fabulous rework of Mount Kimbie‘s “Serged” in a related post. Check it out while you wait for his new You Stand Uncertain LP to drop on March 14th.
