I wanna rewind my year a big and listen to a Mimosa joint. Brings me back to the Do-Lab this year, with my jaw on the floor. Keep an eye out for a mini-LP being dropped early next month. Man, I love bass music when it’s done right.

Neon Indian is having a “Psychic Chasms” re-release with a bunch of new remixes. Among them is this Anoraak piece. Nobody creates 80′s-era synthesized nostalgia quite like this guy. I hope there’s a US tour in his future.

Here’s a Jarvis Cocker gem, remixed by Pilooski. Aside from being part of Discodeine, which is rad, Pilooski does a fair share of excellent remixing work as well. The Von Sudenfeld track is still a favorite of mine.
