This 2 track EP features title track “Crusaders” which is filled infectiously with a funk disco bassline, deep stabs and impeccable hook that makes this production so awesome. The 2nd track on the EP is “Au Revue” & again the guys show their disco pedigree taking a loop & just working it perfectly. Video for crusader below!

2012 is shaping up to be a fine year for Childish Gambino. His reputation as a live performer continues to gain a full head of steam just in time for a handful of upcoming tour dates, including a stint at Coachella 2012. Today marks the release of two official remixes of the Childish Gambino track “Heartbeat” by a pair of A-list remixers: Oliver and Treasure Fingers. Pick up these two absolute gems of remixes out TODAY on Glassnote Records.
***On the lookout: A full package is being released February 14th with more “Heartbeat” remixes plus a Little Dragon remix of “All the Shine.”
Treasure Fingers recently did two nice things: He gave away his new track “Take My Hand” for free AND gave away the stems as a thank you to all the producers/DJs/remixers who have supported him. What a swell fella. Rule of Eight, a 22 year old Oklahomite named Blake Bratcher, took those stems and did exactly what Treasure Fingers asked remixers to do: went crazy with’em. I am admittedly not a major moombah man but can certainly get on board when the word core is added to the moombah.
The SoundCloud user reviews don’t lie: “AWESOMESAUCE” “This makes my naughty parts tingle”
“”
…and “Titties!“.
Today in honor of thanksgiving, we are pleased to give you a special “Dirt” with all the fixings. We decided to give you more than tracks than usual featuring an even wider variety than you’re used to. So please sit back, relax, and enjoy your turkey day.
Tropicool’s Picks
• Pat Lok – No Shame (Goldroom Remix) A bottle rinses up on the shore. It is filled with euphoria, sunshine, and a crescendo from outer space. Our good buddy Josh (Goldroom) keeps pumping out instant classics that will make your soul glow.
• Luther Vandross – I Wonder (SAH Re-Froth) SAH was foraging in a long forgotten place between space and time and stubbled upon a funky ball of tits. He had the funk, and had to keep the funk alive. It’s the spawn of a new time where light up dance floors glisten off a tan butt poached up on a lengthy pair of stems.
• Christophe – The Force (Julio Bashmore Piano Mix) Beautiful piano rework of a rather amazing original. This instrumental journey will consist of copious amounts of cocaine with Stevie Wonder while floating on a cloud.
