Jay-Z did “Justify My Thug.” Lady Gaga cites her as a reference for pretty much everything. And now, Beth Ditto of The Gossip fame has devoted the video for “I Wrote The Book,” from her self-titled EP produced by Simian Mobile Disco, as a homage to Madonna’s iconic, steamy, sexually seductive “Justify My Love.”

Some were born out of simple live jams that evolved into finely tuned studio creations, whilst others were ground-up rebuilds where I was effectively writing new pieces of music using samples from other tracks. Old song, new remix of The Bravery by Super Discount. Reminds me of back in high school when I liked The Bravery. Absolutely loving the beat in this track, if only we could harness it and put it in other tracks. Hint. Another Passion Pit remix, although I enjoyed this one a lot. It's interesting to say the least, I'm quite curious about Miike Snow now. And lastly, the dAi and MMMatthias remix of The Gossip's 8th Wonder. Interesting intro, once you get into the track it gets pretty club. I had the week update for you now because I have a little surprise for you tomorrow. I like it at least, although it's a bit more than a week old. I'll give you a hint, it's Australian.
