The Loud Whispers of the Thermal Team alerted me to Youri Donatz and Franky Rizardo specifically their track ‘I Like This Sound’. They have joined together here to make a seminal track that truly tells the new school story. Refined funk with touch’s of Laidback w/A-trak and tons of bottom end work without distorting the musical imagery. Clean and clinical but never feeling sterile or formulaic. Thermal Team strikes again with the mix that was everywhere last week and is still playing in my car as I ride to an from work. ‘

Happy Accidents

Well I have to mention Sound Pellegrino again (no apologies) because when I got up this morning I saw that Teki Latex and Momma's Boy (a.k.a. Mikix The Cat) where doin a video U Stream DJ set which woke me the fuck up. In the chat window I asked Teki what was playing at one point and it was this by Funkin Matt.
