Stanton Warriors “The Warriors”

03 24 2011

If you were to ignite a conversation on trend setters and producers that have had an influential impact in the general creative direction of your average producer’s work, the most common names that would come to mind are Crookers, The Bloody Beetroots, Switch and Tiesto.

The producers that would not be “top of mind” so to speak (Eg. you would have heard alot of but not known whos song it was) but intrinsically still have had a large impact would include Stanton Warriors (remember that rye rye remix?). these guys bring a unique influence to both breaks and hip hop making their music very ear club/bedroom/ipod friendly.

This brings me on to their latest project, an album, soon to be released and titled “the warriors”. The album delivers everything stanton you need, be it jackin beats, tight hip hop, glitchy breaks and a little bit of drama in the break downs. The first song on their album is titled “get up” which is more than suitable.

Right now i’m sitting in a small office frothing for a few strobe lights to appear and night to fall.. this song is not to heavy, not to light, just right.

Let's bring the CONTROL family back together this Friday...

As of this moment, we will be doing presale tickets only as we are working on how to make our guestlists more effective in the New Year. Check back before Friday to see if we will have a guestlist this week, but to eliminate confusion, buy tickets now and pick them up at will call Friday night.
