Norwegian space/cosmic-disco soldier Prins Thomas is making a triumphant return to the Mercat, this time in the basement, taking place this Friday (27/1) courtesy of the Animals Dancing crew. And if last time is anything to go by then we will be in for a treat this time round too. Tickets are still available from Moshtix and if you need more details, hit up the Facebook page. Support on the night from Tornado Wallace, Andee Frost and Otologic.

In Animals Dancing tradition, Prins Thomas will be given control of the console until the club closes, and with Prins famous for his extended sets, we will be in for a real treat.

Also, have a read of an interview I did with Thomas back in 2010 (mp3s there won’t be re-uploaded – sorry) to gain a greater insight.

MP3: Le Disco – Black Cars (Prins Thomas Edit)
MP3: Nemesi – Cosmica (Lindstrøm & Prins Thomas Remix)
MP3: Prins Thomas – Gonna Fly Now (Theme from Rocky)
MP3: Prins Thomas – Morning Dew (Prins Thomas Edit)
MP3: Prins Thomas – Nights of the Elephant

Twin Sister - Bad Street (Lindstrøm & Prins Thomas Remix)

Los productores noruegos Lindstrøm y Prins Thomas le meten mano a “Bad Street” de Twin Sister dejando como resultado una bomba para la pista de baile. Enjoy.

TELEPHONES KANAL PRINS THOMAS SURE OPPSTOT

01 14 2011

Slightly different pace to the outro of the working week with Telephones, real name Henning Severud.

Kids these days would be speedy to label him along the lines of balearic haus or something thereabouts but for me sits more in the uplifting house end… and for all good reasons!

His most recent effort is the ‘Kanal’ ep, which displays gorgeous almost radical magnified melodies both constant and consistent along with a b-side ‘Turkis’ and remix success from Nor-wedge Prins Thomas.

Taking all the shine from past and youthful mixes of Casiokids, Chemical Brothers (along with Lindstrom), El Guincho and Junior Boys Prins has evolved an already moving ballard into something even more dynamic.

KASPER BJOERKE HEAVEN MUZZLE FLASH REMIX

08 13 2010

if you haven’t already found some personal time for self-pleasuring then Kasper Bjorkes new ep ‘heaven’ can furfill you and more.

He’s from the new France… Denmark and paints downtrodden almost polite bass lines, lavishly sparred with continous high hats (plus self vocalized).

As mentioned per-above ‘heaven’ is an aurgasm of the slightly reserved kind, it’s not a ‘floor shaker’ or ‘ear bleeder’, more aligned with a young librarians mischievous thoughts.

the muzzle flash mix is my cosmic pick but there’s also a frighteningly gluttonous and long prins thomas diskomiks and nicolas jarr rub.
