Bugger. Almost forgot to post these blazing tunes from NAPT. This is what happens when we receive over 100 submissions a day. This is the price of success. ha. Kidding.
NAPT doesn’t need much of an intro to these pages. They’re the creators and purveyors of n-funk which by my calculations is a mashing of a number of styles, most importantly though, breakbeat. Their latest for RED SUGAR RECORDS is a double single that slams basslines sideways. “King Jitter” is a grinding monster while “Treatise” pounds a battling b-boy break. You should grab both – they’re available on iTunes and beatport.
Purveyors of bass, breaks, and electro (alternatively and aptly named n-funk) NAPT dropped their latest EP this week. It’s a mixed bag in terms of dancefloor stylings ranging from electro breaks to dubstep and even a tad of that moombahton stuff. This is the second release on the duo’s Red Sugar label – which gets accented bass remix treatments from Lucian X and B.Rich.
Peep the cuts below and head over to NAPT’s facebook page for a free download. Don’t forget to show support and add a track or two to your beatport crate.
Well I am going to keep it short as it is super nice outside,I ate about 3lbs of pistachios, and still have like 400 emails to go threw.I hope everyone is having a great week.I myself am trying to get back up to speed with everything. Here is a huge tracklist to get you guys in the party mood.Once again please share on you facebook and twitter.Thanks.Enjoy…
It’s been a while since we’ve heard from NAPT but that doesn’t mean the duo is taking it easy. Among other things they’re starting up their own label RED SUGAR RECORDS. (I guess we don’t have an active link yet.)
This tune however comes from BREAKBEAT KAOS in anticipation of the collab with BROOKES BROTHERS which will drop in April. NAPT’s remix of “Beautiful” bounces with N-Funk – their interpolation of breaks and electro and for this version the vocals have been stripped to a minimum.
Welcome back everyone.I hope all my North American readers had a wonderful Thanksgiving.I had a great mini vacation. I did alot of sitting around doing next to nothing.Played alot of Nazi Zombies on Black Ops which was fun.Anyways how was your weekend? Today I have a huge track selection that will take everyone out of the funk of returning to work. Have a great week and talk to you on Weds.Enjoy…
A minute ago I posted NAPT‘s latest remix / bootleg along with the video for the Bashy colaboration. Well, since they’re celebrating the forthcoming release, NAPT mashed BASHY‘s 2009 hit “Millionaire”, 2Pac’s “California Love” & Chromeo’s “Needy Girl” into a finely crafted piece of N-Funk. The single is now available for pre-order and since everyone is going to have this track, you might as well get on it.
The file came untitled so you’ll I took the liberty of creating one.

As it turns out we initially received an unmastered version so here’s the one you want – and it even has a title!

All round hot property NAPT return for part 4 of their Contraband series, this time re-mixing Cee Lo Green’s “Fuck You” into a futuristic N-Funk electronic work out. Would you expect anything less from them? No, so forget the preview and click the download link in the SoundCloud player below.
Watch out for NAPT’s next single with the multi talented Ashley “Bashy” Thomas, “Make My Day”, due for release on December 5 2010 on Bashy Holdings, although personally I prefer the original. You can grab that here.
So today is cold, wet, and grey.Ugh how I hate days like this.I wish everyday was sunny.Anyways the past couple of days I’ve been watching this show on History Channel called “Ancient Aliens” they talk about all the evidence that aliens came down to earth back when Pharaohs built the pyramids and stuff like that.Well it got me thinking. If there are others out there what type of music do they listen to?Music is away all people can communicate.I probably will pick up the book “Chariots Of The Gods” it was written in the 70′s and goes pretty in depth on the whole ancient alien theory.Has anyone else read it?If so how is it?Well to get my mind off this crappy weather I have a huge track list to share with all of you. This should get you threw the week.Hopefully its sunny where you are.Take a listen.Enjoy…
