Continuing from the last ESP-related post, the label also brought out a limited mix CD “Totally Techno Trone” by duo Totebagz, who is made up of Jerky Perky aka Misha Hallenbach (Perks and Mini/Bamboo Musik) and Biscuit (Moonrocks) – this can be purchased from Juno, Phonica + more.
Misha has also contributed a dark ambient mix for the highly acclaimed store LN-CC. Part of their ‘Store Mix’ series, Misha’s #005 can be heard/downloaded here.

Noncollective Nº.1 / Abel
12 07 2011
Very limited Unfortunately, there is 0 stock left of Abel’s “Aegean Sea” down at the always wonderful mix archive website Noncollective. The first Noncollective release in the series; “Aegean Sea” contains three edits by Dutch digger/DJ Abel Nagengastmarks – limited to 300 copies. I can comfortably say that this is my favourite ‘edit’ release of 2011, with beautiful cover art to boot. Don’t sleep! Check it.
While on the topic of Noncollective (which was started by UK graphic designer David McFarline), Melbourne’s Noise in My Head Michael K has just contributed to the collective with mix titled “High Life”.
‘High Life’ records a relaxed state of mind in a post-Japan comedown, mapping out organic Euro new age and fusion, funky Brazilia, late night sleaze and stoner boogie. – M.K.
Have a listen to the mix, and many others contributed by Abel, Chee S, Tako, Basso, and a lot more at the Noncollective website.
