“Continuing with our weekly mixtape giveaways we present you with Maluca – “China Food”, mixed by me. This is the brain child of Maluca for us to create a biographical trilogy (Past, Present and Future), if you will, of her musical influences and own music. First starting with where Maluca is coming from, early influences (Playero Music) and early songs (“Big Bad Bangs”), next, we move on to where she’s at, current influences (Mambo de Calle, Gaga Music), current songs (“Jungle Violento”, “Flourescent Beige”) and finally where she’s going influences (Dutch House, Vogue/Ballroom House), songs (“Loca”, “Hector”). With original production from amazing producers Oliver Twizt, Mumdance, Ruckazoid, Kevin Seaton, Marcus Price and one wack one, Me. I’m pretty positive what you’re about to hear, new song or old will be 99 percent new to your ears. So where Maluca goes from here I don’t know, but what i do know is that shes so talented, beautiful and crazy that I’ll be watching and listening closely the whole way.”

Vintergatan (a new project from Swedish rapper M.Sakarias) gives us the fantastic Marcus Price (who seems to be very busy these days and we’re happy to see him getting his work out there) remix of their hip hop/house/disco track “Ny Värld”.

NYC vocalist and Mad Decent affiliate Maluca is back with her new mixtape “China Food” (which drops August 12th), “Hector” is the first track to surface from it and it was produced by Swedens very own purveyor of saucy bass Marcus Price (expect an EP from him on Discobelle Records soonish). They team up to give us a razor sharp display of bass filled Spanish electro dance.

I don’t have to tell you how much this new EP from Marcus Price & Carli rules the world. The whole thing has been a favorite of mine for a while and Beats even went so far as to prematurely put “Mat, Bira, Kvinnor, Weed (Kingdom Remix)” is his Top 10 of 2009 list.

In any case, the release is finally available for your listening pleasure with devastatingly amazing remixes from Kingdom, Dubbel Dutch, Norrit, Girl Unit, and Crazy Pays. I bought the 12″ but if you want digital it’s available on Beatport, iTunes, and Juno, all compliments of Palms Out Sounds!

Toffer, is an up-and-coming rapper from Haning. On the new “Hur Går det Med Musiken Remix Mixtape” Toffer invites friends like Marcus Price, UMYO, Denniz Prime, COCOLOCO among others to remix tunes from his last mixtape “Hur Går det Med Musiken”. Toffer is now working on volym 3 of hur går “Hur Går det Med Musiken?” and is also finding time to do some new things together with Marcus Price and Sexfemman.

Our friends over at Palms Out just dropped this bomb of a release on us with the Marcus Price & Carli EP entitled “Mat Bira Kvinnor Weed” (which is Swedish for “Food Beer Women Weed”).

The title track can only be described as being a: “bouncy ride for your backside – sub bass booming, skittering whistles, booty bumps and scratched robot voices for days. We already fed you the Kingdom remix (other remixers include Dubbel Dutch and Crazy Pays) of said track a few months ago but we’ll give you new chance to grab it below. On the B-side we find “Var E Näääken” (which translated mean “Where is Näääken?”, Näääken being their formerly incarcerated home boy) which delves even deeper into bass cabinets destruction. Huge 808s, persistent snares, and shuffling shakers make for a huge party starter. (Remixers for the b-side are Bok Bok, Girl U.N.I.T and Norrit)
