William Shatner stopped by George Lopez’ TBS late night show to promote his new TV show $#*! My Dad Says, based on the popular Twitter feed (whoa). To prove that he’s a fitting candidate to play the foul-mouthed 72 year old Ed Goodson, Shatner performed a cover of Cee-Lo‘s F-bomb laiden sensation, “Fuck You”. Ha, now ain’t that some $#*!?

We all know Warpaint’s debut The Fool is great start-to-finish and it’s sure to be one of the most impressive debuts of the year, and we all know the good people at Yours Truly are doing some of the best indie music videography out there, so their collaboration on a few live videos was probably in the stars to begin with.

We may not analyze and dissect Gossip Girl’s song choices anymore, but we still enjoy the show and its Music Supervisor’s taste immensely. Shout out to Alexandra Patsavas @ ChopShop! Anyway, in a move to hopefully bring American consumer’s temperamental eyes on the sensational Swedish pop-pixie, Robyn, she made a quick cameo on last night’s Gossip Girl. No spoilers, of course, but I will let you know that Robyn played a strip down version of “Hang With Me,” not unlike the version of the song found on Body Talk Pt. 1. I will also let you know that you can watch a video of just that below:

Last night, Daft Punk hit the stage at Phoenix‘s show in New York City’s iconic Madison Square Garden arena during their encore. With Phoenix, the french house gods played a jammed out mix of their classic “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” and “Around The World”. This was Daft Punk’s first live performance in three years. Hopefully the first of many, seeing that their Tron Legacy soundtrack is due out in a few weeks. You can watch the video of Daft Punk performing “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” and “All Around The World” (after Phoenix’s “If I Ever Feel Better”) below:

At their show last Saturday in New York City, after a brooding performance of “Shelter,” the xx performed an shoegaze-y rendition of Robin S’ 90′s No. 1 smash, “Show Me Love”. Luckily someone was there to catch it all, with decent video and audio quality. The video below also includes the performance of “Shelter”; “Show Me Love” starts at around 3:20.

Chiddy Bang and Xaphoon Jones stopped by the studio with Billboard to record the last “Monday Mashup” of 2010. For those who don’t know, Monday Mashup is a series of live covers presented by Billboard and Starburst featuring fresh takes of classic songs by burgeoning artists. Chiddy Bang were charged with the task of covering Bobby McFerrin’s 1988 classic, “Don’t Worry Be Happy” while incorporating several topics into a freestyle. As always, the results were pretty impressive. Watch Chiddy Bang’s rendition of “Don’t Worry Be Happy” below:

On Saturday night, the ever-theatrical Kanye West hit SNL and delivered two big performances of his latest singles, “Power” and “Runaway”. It’s rare for anyone to get this dramaturgic on the Saturday Night Live stage, but if anyone (other than Lady Gaga, of course) were to do it, it would be Kanye. Speaking of Gaga, it’s still quite depressing that their co-headlining tour fell through; I would have loved to see them try to outdo each other. But back to SNL — watch Kanye West and Clipse’s Pusha T make their way through a myriad of classical dancers, below:
