A new year is nearly upon us, and as Feral Party Kids, we all know what that means. Here are a few tracks to get the celebrations under-way.

I first heard this track about a month ago and I’ve been eager for an excuse to share it with you since then. Well, here we are, this is undoubtedly a track to get the party moving.

wow – Name, age, hometown, fetishes?

Name: Matthew Corry
Age: 21
Hometown: Derry in Ireland but at University in Manchester, England.

wow – How long have you been producing and what is your production software of choice?

Been producing for just over 2 years, but i’ve been doing the AudioFun thing since Feb 09. I use Ableton Live 8 and a load of plugins.

wow – Your most recent EP (Sirens EP) which was released on Southern Fried Records has a lot of sounds that remind me of video games. What were your influences for the style of music you made on this EP and in general?

This EP is my first EP so I wanted to do 4 tracks of different styles. Its similar to my DJ sets as you can see from the mix, I don’t just play one genre so I don’t just produce one genre. Not really sure what the inspiration for the EP was to be honest! I usually start a production with working on the lead line or bassline and work from there.

wow – If you were to colloborate an original mix with any producers who would your first 3 be?

I’ll go with a past, present and future thing on this. Fatboy Slim would obviously be one of them. He was the guy that got me into
electronic music and with him being the label head he gets first choice. My favourite producer at the minute is Black Noise and I would love to do something with them. They have the best basslines out there currently. Future wise I’m going to say Urchins or Sound Of Stereo. Both are great duos who are producing some fantastic stuff and I would highly recommend checking them out.

wow – We have noted a good friend of ours, Kraymer, has remixed one of your latest tracks “Dirty Gold”. Any plans to try hit up Australia one day and play?

Yea I would love to! I don’t have anything planned for over there at the minute so promoters get in touch!

So this past Monday I had the extreme pleasure of having one of my favorite up-and-coming producers/djs on my show, TransAtlantic (on Digitally Imported), Last Japan!!!!! So if you haven't noticed, here at PM we like Last Japan's music a lot! So not only am I posting my mix from the show, as well as his butttttt I'm also posting a brand new single from him.

Let's talk about this song for a moment. Because I'm digging it. It's a song he did with Crispin J Glover and a new young vocalist out of the UK named Kay Young. It's pretty fat hip-hop electro with some chop synths, minor wobbles and bmore flavor flav. I personally can't wait to drop this heat at the next Menace Beach!!!
