this thing oozes cool and is some of the most cleverly produced upbeat modern disco i’ve heard in a long time.
sitting pretty at four tracks deep, you can get your slap funk on with title track ‘the best of me’, get all tropicool 5-0 with ‘hawaii’, go back in time and (balls) deep aztec on ‘City of Gold’ and shimmy to some cowbell on ‘Tropico Escuro’.
