本名Jack Revill的Jackmaster（Numbers）與Oneman（502）和Ben UFO（Hessle Audio）都同在Rinse FM主持也都各自經營著自己的廠牌但他們都不是Producer，回顧2011他們三人的確是主導著整個英國跳舞音樂圈將Dubstep轉變成Bass Music的重要推手之一，其中的Jackmaster在今年五月份交由Fabric發行的Fabriclive系列更是獲得了Bleep.com 2011年最佳合輯第一的殊榮，在這個重要時刻Resident Advisor也趁勝追擊邀請到Jackmaster為RA Podcast系列錄製了一段1小時40分的精彩Mix，透過Jackmaster的這段RA mix除了是可回顧他這一年外更是預先告知2012年英國跳舞音樂圈的走向。Download: RA.289

Rinse FM在稍早前已上傳完成格拉斯哥Bass Music廠牌Numbers Takeover本週二（8/30）4小時Special的Radio Show，當晚Jackmaster和Specner除了已公佈找來Hessle Audio的Ben UFO、Eglo的Floating Points加入外，在節目中途陸續加入有Joy Orbison、Pearson Sound和BOK BOK在節目裡，因為近期Rinse FM都不會在隔日就上傳前一日的節目，而且這次的又是整整4小時聽完要到早上八點實在累人，所以想透過預約的方式把整段4hr的節目錄下待隔日醒來在慢慢消化，但後來電腦進入修眠後只錄到約一個半小時宣告失敗，不過好加在這星期的Risne FM是有比較快速的將節目給上傳，總之和我一樣錯過當晚節目的請趕緊下載Rewind。 Download: Rinse FM - Numbers（

He may be a record label boss (several times over), but you won’t find Jackmaster (Jack Revill) overloading his own sets with his label’s releases. For as much as he is about business, he is also about pleasure. Specifically, his own. He plays music that leaves an impression; music that spans decades and genres, music he loves and wants you to experience. Per every Jackmaster set, there’s one “oh damn” moment as he drops a forgotten favorite, and a few “what the hell was that song” exclamations. It’s this collected energy between the old and brand new that makes Jackmaster thoroughly exciting.

Yesterday marked the bi-weekly appearance the Numbers label radio show on Rinse FM which included Spencer and guest Jamie XX. If you aren’t already acquainted with Numbers, get on it. You’re snoozin’ through the future.
