Young UK DJ/producer and Numbers label co-conspirator Jack "Jackmaster" Revill graced last week's Sónar festival in Barcelona with a stellar mix of the many kinds of bass music and future-house tunes propagated by his insanely talented cohorts. As with the DJ set Braiden dropped at the electronic music festival, Red Bull Music Academy was on the scene and recording Jackmaster's deck magic for the event—catching every brilliant tune and slick mix the DJ pushed out of the soundsystem. Numbers re-upped this vintage Jackmaster mix from a few years ago to get you all in the mood for this weeks Sonar Festival in Barcelona。

因為人跟本不在英國，所以也無緣參與4/2 Numbers主辦邀來Martyn、Rustie、Brackles、Scuba、Sigha、D-Bridge和Instra:mental等人在Fabriclive辦得活動，不過還好Jackmaster（Glasgow音樂廠牌Numbers的領導人）昨天在Dummy和Mad Decent兩個網站裡都有他精彩的Mixtape出現，在Dummy接受訪問並提供了Jackmaster的90年代House Music精選Dummy Mix 29，另外在Mad Decent裡Jackmaster獻出混合著UK Funky/Future Garage/Dubstep等現今英國最BIG的精彩Mix，當中也因為Jackmaster身為廠牌負責人的好處，可以聽到些還未發行的音樂作品。

We’re all about ready to Jack. The Jackmaster has been forging ahead on a wave of elastic alien syncopations for time, and has been a member of the legendary Rubadub crew since the age of 14. His labels Dress 2 Sweat and Wireblock have been at the forefront of new electronic music, putting out records by Rustie and Hudson Mohawke. Recently he’s dropped mixes for everyone from The Wire and Vice magazine to FACT and Rinse FM, and has appeared at temples of boom such as Optimo, FWD>> and his own Numbers parties, with a fast-paced blend of everything from Drexciya to Dilla.
