With all the great music being released for free today, I wanted to showcase a few giveaway remixes by friends of ours because this is what GDD was built on. Free music for the promotion of artists and their sound… and who doesn’t like a free 320? Support our homiez.
We already tipped you to Lancelot a short while ago and now he’s come forth with a free download of the first track off the We Can Dance EP. “Spoken Word” is a blissed-out piano and bell-filled track with elements of classic house and a peak you can’t deny. This is gonna be big! The EP will be out February 20th on Beatport and March 5th worldwide.
There seem to be countless remixes of the famed “Levels,” but there are few that are truly pioneering and one of which is the work of an Andon Artist, TheFatRat. While still remaining anonymous, he is at it again with his signature disco complextro complete with a little Etta James. With the repetitive nature of electronic music, I feel that some producers have ventured away from the art of songwriting, but TheFatRat proves that there are still artists that are conscious of an arrangement from beginning to end. We have some great things in the works with TheFatRat, but they won’t be released until some time next week, so take this awesome tune and keep an eye out for more. Go ♥ it on The Hype Machine HERE!

90′s inspired house sound on this track from The 2 Bears, who released their full length album, “Be Strong” today. The 2 Bears are a London-based musical duo formed in 2009 composed of Joe Goddard (of electronic band Hot Chip) and Raf Rundell.

The first EP comes from Andrea Oliva, the Basel-based producer known for his Tech House prowess as seen in previous releases on Hideout, Cadenza, and others. The Out Of Town EP is a two-track set of rollers that was just released on Beatport today, and a must grab if you’ve never heard any of his other work.
