It's the Supersound

We’re incredibly excited for the launch of Signal, a new monthly club night dedicated to all sounds futurebass. Lord knows we’ve written about this sound enough in 2011, so to finally, FINALLY have a night to call our city’s own, with the bonus of being held in our favorite club Smart Bar, is one more Christmas present to add to the stack. Signal kicks off this Thursday night with guest Dubbel Dutch whom you can expect to drop genres from R&B to dancehall. He will be joined by Signal residents Kyle Stewart, Whoa-B and Sparkletone. On August 5-7, Lollapalooza 2011 is taking place at Grant Park in Chicago. This year’s headliners include Eminem, Foo Fighters, Muse, Coldplay and My Morning Jacket. Other great bands like Cee Lo, Arctic Monkeys, Beirut, Local Natives, Cults, Cold War Kids and Lykke Li will also hit the stage.
