Swedish prodigy Tove Styrke was already going to be your new crush, but now with an extreme makeover from fellow countrymen Familjen, she's even more irresistible. The Familjen revision starts simply enough with an infectious piano progression padded by anxious handclaps that quickly time-warps into an alternate dimension. Like a pixie Robyn, Styrke's voice flo-oh-oats by on the wings of Familjen's buoyant, fairytale instrumental as dragons circle high above breathing heavy synth plumes. But like Calvin Harris's "Feel So Close" rolling face on uncut ecstasy, Familjen's mix scales great heights in a single bound, the beat acting as a safety net for the vocals to fall back on before everything goes trampoline for the chorus and the post-chorus. Sure, this track may have quietly come out in late 2010, but you better believe it still sounds every bit as glorious in the carefree summer of 2011.

Last week we were able to bring you the goldstudded video for the new Familjen single “Det Var Jag” and today we give you this beautiful techhouse remix of the track from Swedish producer Albin Myers.

We haven’t heard much from Krazy Fiesta lately but it seems like they’ve been holed up in the studio. “Drunk Love” is one of their first original tracks to get an official release (on Swedish label Hybris) and they’ve collaborated with Norwegian vocalist Nils Bech for this organic sounding handclapdriven electropop track. In the future they’ll do a release with Spoek Mathambo and another collaboration with Familjen + an upcoming release later in the fall with us here at Discobelle.

Familjen just dropped his new single “När Planeterna Stannat” and we blogged about it last week (including the fine looking video). Now, Swedish producer John Dahlbäck remixes the track (buy it at Beatport) into a summerish euphoric mass bouncer – sort of a house stomper in a pop outfit.

The swede-dawg Familjen is back from his blog crushing hit ‘Det snurrar i min skalle’ which saw mixes from rex the dog, fever ray, lykke li and kent.

The return is in anticipation of the next single ‘När planeterna stannat’ (When the Planets Have Stopped) from the new album ‘Mänskligheten’ (Humanity) with the same soothing foreign pop we have become accustomed to.

There is a certain beauty contained within the track, a story tale of sorts.. a rousing a smile and a sneaky wink.
