“ATL RMX” is the latest compilation from the Adult Swim network, it features remixes of tracks done by a wide variety of Atlanta rappers such as Young Jeezy, Gucci Mane, Cee-Lo, OJ Da Juiceman, Young Dro, Pill, Playboy Tre etc. The remixes comes from the likes of HEALTH, Flying Lotus, Mad Decent, XXXChange, Memory Tapes, Salem, Dam-Funk, Starkey, Drums Of Death and a bunch of others. Whoa Adult Swim just got that much cooler. They put together a bunch of tracks from hip hop peeps like Lil Jon, Young Jeezy, Rich Kids, Gucci Mane and then got remixes from electronic-uso’s Drums of Death, Health, Salem, Hudson Mowhawke etc etc to do their thing as part of the ATL RMX.
One better is you can actually grab the entire thing in low and variable quality but still free is free!
Drums Of Death are the tropical grimesters from where else but ye ole London town! The latest is ‘Got Yr Thing’, a play it loud sort of tune fit for the scenesters and bros to bop and sway to. Mixes on the EP come in the form of a Jesse Rose ‘Made To Play’ Dub and a similar gritty effort via Starkey.
Jesses is an accending melody of madness, jumping and twisting towards an eventual party jam freak out.

Here is the new Mika track “Rain”. In the stores you can buy the EP with “super-dancey” remixes from Benny Benassi, Seamus Haji, Magistrates and Domenico Torti. That’s all good but if you are playing a secret warehouse London style rave I think you probably be better of with this one.
Drums of Death should need no introduction, he is a dope guy, looks good in a white mask, gives a wicked out of this world live/dj act and on top of that he is a stellar producer.
Drums of Death continues to thrill us with “Got Yr Thing.” Fun clip. I’m pretty sure that’s Joe Goddard at the 1:10 mark. Watch closely. As the video proves, if listen to this track too much you’re gonna end up with Drums of Death makeup. Which might work out well with Halloween quickly approaching.
