Back in action for 2011, Sir Don Rimini has given us a medley of new killers to come. The Perfect Prescription is a compilation of tracks from a bunch of up and coming producers from all around the world, curated by none other than the don of french electro, Don Rimini himself. The compilation consists of eight tracks personally picked by Don Rimini with 3 criteria in mind: “It had to be fresh, creative and bangin.” The tracks span a bunch of different genres, but they all share the same high energy, dance floor friendly vibe, and they all sound rather new and refreshing. My favorites of the group (and I’m sure you’ll agree) are from the nasty up-and-comer Ado and Southern Fried’s own Keith, both hugely supported artists who have been producing nothing but fire. Hot off the heels of their recently released debut album “Just Do The Dada” – (second single “Let’s Get Bleeped Tonight” drops in October with remixes from hard hitters Don Rimini, Mustard Pimp etc) – Dada Life brings us their latest Guerilla Fart edit. Number 10 is their filthy reworking of the Simian Mobile Disco track “Audacity Of Huge”.
It was back in May when Hatcho had a chat to the Parisian-Power-House Don Rimini and told us to keep a lookout for a number of producers including netherlands resident and stoner-house-beatsmith Chuckie.
Recent x marks the spot tracks have been ‘Let The Bass Kick’ and a lick on David Guettas ‘Sexy Bitch’.
Chuckies remix of Bob Sinclars ‘Love you No More’ isn’t much different from the rest with a token and propelled beat, what does make Chuckies mixes and originals stand out is his texture and ability to break down, rebuild the bones and flesh out the track.
