It’s safe to say we’re on "team DMDS" 100% after replaying their most ridiculously rad remixes (see: Zambri and Gorillaz), and now, we’ve got even more reason to champion David and Scorch. 

Coming in with a lusciously intimate cover of Whitney Houston’s I Wanna Dance With Somebody, DMDS entertain us with soft vocals and an undertone beat that reminds us of the best parts of Chris De Burgh’s’ Lady In Red.

It’s no lie that our Beastly-ears love everything that Death Metal Disco Scene have been pumping out. Whether it’s a mix of Lily Allen or Zambri (note: their w/Somebody rub is one of our fave fixes of 2009), David Billing and Scorch Shepherd continue to keep us grooving and grinning.

Earlier this week, a stream of DMDS’ stunningly-thumping and mega rad remix of Gorillaz Stylo was made available. Now, in conjunction with our pal Faisal over at OhhCrapp!, we’re pleased as punch to simultaneously offer up the high-qual mp3 for all to enjoy.

With a number of subpar Stylo mixes floating around, DMDS are able to cut through the clutter with a nearly 8-minute epic trek through echoey disco beats and an extraordinary instrumental buildup leading into the piercing vocals shared by Damon Albarn and Bobby Womack.
