The Culture of Me Presents: Lioness, Deluka and The Knocks at Union Hall on Friday

I sincerely hope you don't already have plans this Friday. Or, if you do, I'd be aces with you cancelling 'em so you can hit up Union Hall for a pretty tight lineup of music, friends and fun. See, our buddy Jeff over at The Culture of Me went and curated a pretty killer lineup of live music, and even if he hadn't been involved, I'd still totes have posted this. His inclusion just sweetens the pot all that much more. Onward info...

With a bill boasting Lioness and Deluka, topped with a DJ set from our pals The Knocks, I can guarantee you will have a killer time disco dancing, definitely drinking, but all around diving in on a night of awesome awesomeness.

Midnight Juggernauts – Vital Signs (single/video)

Midnight Juggernauts‘ highly anticipated sophomore release is drawing closer and closer. Having recently made the final touches in the studio downunder, the mates have just unleashed their second single and accompanying video for Vital Signs today.

Vital Signs follows the trio’s stunning lead single, This New Technology, both of which are taken from their forthcoming full length album The Crystal Axis. Their second official studio album is set for worldwide digital release on May 28 and on limited edition vinyl (US) on June 15 via Siberia Records/Acephale.

 

Watch the trippy, drippy, super rad video now. (Side note: this song might be my favorite to watch the lads play live. Wonderfully executed!)

Winnie Is Super Stoked Right Now

OK so one of our fave Vancouver bands, Fan Death (although they say they are from Christmas Island, which does sounds pretty magical) are opening for one of my other fave bands, Vampy Weekend for their almost completely sold out UK and European dates.  As well as Little Boots in NA.

AND

They are taking one of Vancouver’s finest talents to drum for them, the one man spectacle, Mr Tony Dallas (who has graced us on many occasion at our NMS night).  This is rad right?
