Man Bottins ‘Discocracy Revisited’ ep is dope!

The ‘Discocracy/August’ 12′ dropped last year via eskimo records and found support from a huge number of big shots with the digital release following and remixes from Hannulelauri, Munk, Bangkok Impact and even Bottin himself.

Hard to pick one that stands out as the standard has been set so high, although if it was a life/death situation i’d grab a hold of Bangkok Impacts Hi-Energy and Hannulelauris remix. One for the adrenalin rush and the other for our escape into the sunset.

somehow ‘flamingo’ was largely forgotten from a lot of bloggers top tracks for 2010 but thankfully the golden bug is back with the new single ‘Washing Machine’ along with italian bro Rodion feat vocalist Lavina Claws! (Rodion also has a recent ep on Gomma called ‘For Ever’ thats worth checking).

now im not 100+ years old but this thing has plenty of gumption, it just monsters along on as a sunny similou piano ride with a catchy yelly vocal and an 8 bit melody.

its pretty a-typical of current dance music but still stands apart as something noticle and bumping.

New spin-off label from Italians Do It Better titled “Perseo” has just released an edits CD. Although, there were three vinyl releases brought out by the label with these edits. However, this CD has those edits plus more!! – in disc form! Sooo many edits, not enough time. Head here to the IDIB store and purchase right away good sirs!. Edits are done by Bottin, M. Vogel and the man who’s the leader of the pack (from an IDIB perspective), Mike Simonetti. You can’t beat that “Brother Louie” track by Stories (who many would mistake for Rod S.)
