MJOLNIR are an electro-disco trio straight out of Jakarta, Indonesia who have recently burst onto the scene by taking the Chemical Brothers track “Swoon” and giving it an unexpectedly brilliant disco facelift.  And, according to Las Vegas oddsmakers & all major offshore gambling sites, MJOLNIR are the early odds-on favorites (along with this No Body remix) to win the highly anticipated Barretso Remix Competition.

Along with the two above referenced gems, MJOLNIR have also taken time to craft a new track entitled, “Just A Boy”.  “Just A Boy” (with vocals by their own band member Nash) features darker 80s Italo & New Wave elements woven together beautifully with the lighter elements of modern disco.

Judging by these three splendid tracks, MJOLNIR are certainly off to a very promising start to their career

You usually have some talent when a label like Tuff Em Up picks you out out of Chile and releases some bumping mixes in full quality, add to that you record your own vocals and have a general dude vibe about you and Barretso is someone I tip my hat to.

‘We Won’t Stop’ is the salute to the un-willingness to compromise but skewed into a musical masterpiece bolstered with shooting stars chords and uplifting anthemic vocals.
