Skippy, conga-infused tribal house beats give dominance to those seminal gospel vocals, snipped and cut. For more free Mercury remixes, hit up his <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-error"><a href="http://soundcloud.com/worldofmercury">soundcloud</a></span>:</p>

<p>The Fabric promo crew have given me one of my favourite tracks from <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_6" class="blsp-spelling-error">Voodeux&#8217;s</span> eerie and intelligent debut techno album, Paranormal, to hand out for free (it appeared in the <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_7" class="blsp-spelling-error">pelski</span> chart a month or two back). Willowy <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_8" class="blsp-spelling-error">synths</span> meander around the gentle padding of minimal house beats and hand claps. Wielding a catchy hook &#8211; strangely reminiscent of the kind of music you hear in a hotel elevator, but don&#8217;t let that discourage you. Buy the whole the album <a href="https://www.beatport.com/en-US/html/content/release/detail/175078/The%20Paranormal/?utm_source=bp_news&amp;utm_medium=bp_news_voodeux-talk-about-their-techno-horror&amp;utm_content=bp_home&amp;utm_term=bp_home_beatport&amp;utm_campaign=bp_beatportal">here</a> &#8211; filled to the brim with ambient <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_9" class="blsp-spelling-error">IDM</span> and hook-laden techno:</div>
<p><a href="http://pelski.brinkster.net/post128/02%20Just%20a%20Spoonful.mp3"><strong><span id="SPELLING_ERROR_10" class="blsp-spelling-error">Voodeux</span> &#8211; Just A Spoonful</strong> </a>[<span id="SPELLING_ERROR_11" class="blsp-spelling-error">pelski</span> highly recommends]<br /><img style="MARGIN: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; WIDTH: 134px; FLOAT: right; HEIGHT: 200px; CURSOR: pointer" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5412145855287914962" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_9YtcsDmnbD8/SxvN-wkJ8dI/AAAAAAAACM0/uFWxGp9UgZ4/s200/m.in.jpg" /><br />M.in been smashing the house scene this year, first taking it by storm with jazzy number &#8216;New Orleans&#8217; and then collaborating with the likes of Bastian <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_12" class="blsp-spelling-error">Schuster</span>, Patrick <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_13" class="blsp-spelling-error">Kunkel</span>, Harold Todd and <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_14" class="blsp-spelling-error">YNK</span> for some of the most exciting releases of the year. And everyone from <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_15" class="blsp-spelling-error">Radioslave</span> to <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_16" class="blsp-spelling-error">Basti</span> Grub have enlisted his remix skills. He&#8217;s giving out this trumpeting Balkan track for free (it seems this jaunty Balkan and gypsy sound is all the rage right now):</p>
<p><a href="http://pelski.brinkster.net/post128/M.in&amp;Jonas-BalkanStyle.mp3"><strong>M.in &amp; Jones &#8211; Balkan Style</strong><br /></a><br />Here we have a cover of Candi Station, remixed by The xx, re-edited by Renaissance Man&#8230; The xx remix is sublime, whilst this re-edit reworks things for the <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_17" class="blsp-spelling-error">dancefloor</span>:</p>
