Yes Yes Records delivered another great single in Diamond Light’s “My Everything”, and it screams late 90′s house. I’ve been a big supporter of Sydney label Yes Yes, and they haven’t let me down yet! I think a real reason is due to the strength and diversity of the remixes which is a must for any single release! This time HeavyFeet, Magnifik, and Charlie Why are amongst the remixers and don’t they deliver!
It’s my pleasure to debut LA duo Poolside’s new video and single “Do You Believe.” It is a pretty rad tune with infectious piano, funky bass, groovey percussion and even some acid-esque lead lines.
So this has popped up on a few blogs around the place but its good enough to blog again and again. I also believe this should be the first high quality post of the remix – Thanks Ben! Miami Horror and Gorillaz together at last… Enjoy.

Ghoul is one of my favourite bands. Awesome, strange, quirky, and fantastic music and each song makes me wonder about the creative process. Vocalist Ivan Vizintin has such a nice tone (definite Antony Hegarty vibe) and his voice sounds even better live. Ghoul have a new mini album ‘Dunks’ which has just been released on Speak N Spell/Inertia.
“Blue Boys/Blue Girls” from Headman’s1923 album was one of the standouts from the record. For Headman’s latest offering he has added two alternate vocals (one male – Blue Boys and one female – Blue Girls) to the former instrumental to create two new versions. Blue Boys features vocals by Dave Okumo from London outfit The Invisible and Blue Girls features Jackie from Newcastle new wave garage band Retriever. To add to the brilliance Headman has recruited Chmmr, Richard D. Clouston, and Mickey to provide remixes. Here is my favourite cut from the single.
