Pitbull's doing some good stuff.

Some electro in it.
2 Hot Ones
07 31 2009

*Rick Restänques feat. Linda Lee Höpkins - "Too Höt (original mix)"
This should remind most of Armand Van Helden - "I want your soul"
*Inna - "Hot (beat thrillerz remix)"
Thanks to Beat Thrillerz producer & member DJ Mickey Bono for sending me his sweet remix!
Deekline & Wizard (video)
07 31 2009

3 months ago Deekline & Wizard released their 2nd artist album ‘Back Up, Coming Through’ on Against The Grain records. Initial stock sold out in just days and the album continues to gather momentum as the world tunes into their unique sound. Now, fresh off the back of a hugely successful Australian tour which saw Deekline holding the front page of two major music publications, the boys are back with another big hitter.
"Bounce & Rebound" is Deekline & Wizard doing what they do best, cooking up a hot pot of raw talent to produce a sound which is totally unique yet quintessentially British. Featuring jungle institution TopCat, UK hip hop exile Fallacy, gospel singer Vic Bynoe and the jazz scat sounds of Yolanda, Bounce & Rebound is a multi genre masterpiece.

Amanda Blank Proves She is Something Bigger and Better at the Paper Magazine Party
07 31 2009
With a career that’s consisted of guesting on other’s tracks, and opening for friends on larger scale tours, it was a treat to seem Amanda Blank perform a solo set at the Paper Magazine Party last night in Brooklyn. And with her debut album, I Love You, finally seeing a release date in less than a week (August 4th!), the show was a great launching pad for her new material.

Starting off with album highlight, Something Bigger Something Better, Blank spewed and spit filth over a banging beat that included glocks popping and shouting out “this is for my ladies who got that cash, who know how to swing their hips fast!”
With a set lasting no longer than 25 minutes, Blank powered through tracks from her solo debut including: Make It Take It, A Love Song, and a soulfully sung intro to Might Like You Better, before cranking up the speed and beat to the original flavor.
Blank is currently about to hit up a handful of dates with Yeah Yeah Yeahs before continuing on her solo tour.
Amanda Blank’s I Love You is out via Downtown on August 4, 2009.

Jasper James – Rocket (Dirty Space remix)
07 31 2009
Funky and in your face, Jasper James is a post-punk, pop-diva extrordinaire; with her debut solo album, Vibrator, she serves up crunchy bass lines, psychedelic synths, thumping beats, and powerfully impulsive rootsy vocals.

Jasper is storming through Santos this Saturday, August 1 for the release party of her single, Rocket.
Jasper James – Rocket Release Party
Saturday August 1 @ 10pm
Santos Party House
96 Lafayette Street
And to whet your appetite, enjoy this ridiculously rad remix of Rocket that will be sure to get the sweatparty started!
